CHEVY CHASE, MARYLAND – First Citizens Bank, a regional bank headquartered in Raleigh, recently signed a lease for a branch office in The Regent, a 12-story, mixed-use building located at 950 North Glebe Road in Arlington, VA. The 3,500 square-foot branch, which currently is being built out and scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2009, will be the first for the institution inside the Beltway.  Shopping center leasing, management, and development company JBG Rosenfeld Retail (JBGR) finalized the deal. 
 
First Citizens Bank is the first tenant to take up residence in a portion of the 14,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor of The Regent.  The Class A office building also boasts a 7,300 square-foot parcel suitable for a restaurant with outdoor seating, as well as up to 4,400 square feet of divisible retail space.
