Mr. Van Dorpe fulfills several roles at JBGR Retail including: preliminary design & conceptual cost estimation for acquisition-stage opportunities; entitlement & preconstruction efforts for development-stage projects; construction management & client representation for ongoing production activities; and finally, leasing & operations management support for existing properties in JBGR’s portfolio. His most recent and notable milestone with JBGR was the successful delivery of ‘Tysons West’ in Tysons Corner, which was recognized by The Associated Builders & Contractors’ 2013 Award of Excellence. Steve is a product (and enthusiastic supporter) of Pennsylvania State University, graduating with a B.S. degree in Geosciences. His subsequent 20 years’ industry experience includes operations & project management roles at The Structural Group, estimating & preconstruction positions at Donohoe Construction Company, and development directorship responsibilities at Donohoe Development Company.
